This day could not pass without my writing my appreciation to you!  One year ago today, we were in Guatemala getting our precious Lidia.  This year has flown by and Lidia is a delight.  She is very independent, loves music, and has an extremely advanced vocabulary.  She is already speaking in 3 and 4 word sentences!  She and Heidi love each other dearly, and have a lot of fun., 

I could go on all day, the simple truth is, I have never forgotten for a second, this could not be without you and Heart to Heart.  Bless you over and over!  You are our hero!

We would like to highly recommend Linda and Heart to Heart Adoption. We had always dreamed of having a family and Linda has made our dream come true. When we first decided to adopt, we made an appointment to meet with Linda. She accommodated our busy schedules by meeting with us on a weekend. She took so much time to thoroughly explain the adoption process to us. We had what seemed like a million questions and Linda happily answered them all . Once we began the process, Linda was available to guide us. She always made us feel comfortable to contact her with any questions or concerns. Her prompt response to us always reassured us and made us feel confident that we had made the right decision by selecting her agency. When we were discouraged by the length of the process, Linda was available to reassure us. She made us feel that we were her only client. Having Linda on our side made the process a lot easier. Thanks to Linda and the wonderful work of her agency, we welcomed a BEAUTIFUL baby girl home on March 23, 2004. Demi Julia is doing so well and has made such a wonderful transition into our family. 	While we were searching for an adoption agency, we realized that we were not only putting our child's welfare in their hands, but our whole family's emotional well-being. That's why we have been very blessed in having found Heart to Heart. We began working with Heart to Heart on our first adoption process in April of 2002. We brought our son home in November of 2002. We were so pleased with how capable Linda was that we are currently working with her to add another son to our family. We have found Linda to be very trustworthy and personable. 	When we began the adoption process, we understood that patience would have to be our constant companion on this journey of love. But after two fall through adoptions, our patience began to wear thin and our hearts were broken. We felt the hope of adopting a child into our family was slipping away... that was until we found Heart to Heart. What at first seemed an accidental encounter was actually the hand of God leading us to our son. From our first discussion with them, David and Linda have been the answer to our prayers. We are now approaching the end of the adoption process and thank God our son will be home soon! David and Linda have kept the lines of communication open so that we understood each step of the process and what it entailed and have aided us through the mountains of paperwork. They have worked so hard to keep us abreast of our son's development, sending constant pictures and medical updates so that we never felt that far removed from him in those precious first months. They have given us the personal attention that we did not encounter with other agencies. Although at times this journey seemed difficult and even at times unbearable, God has certainly blessed us by leading us to Heart to Heart and to our son. 	Linda, we just wanted to let you know how much you mean to us. It has been very uplifting seeing all the babies coming home and all the ones that will be home soon. We know without you these families would not be together now and soon. There are times when we ask you all sorts of questions. I guess because we are so far away from you. We are so much closer to having the family we have always dreamed of. We want to express to you how much we appreciate all your efforts and the time you spend working on our case. 	Heart to Heart is an answer to our prayers. When searching for an agency, we began to get very discouraged. We called several agencies and could not seem to get any straight answers about anything. Then we found Heart to Heart and got more answers in one conversation than anyone had been able to give. It almost seemed to good to be true. It was all so easy. From the first phone call, we felt as if we had known Linda for years. There has not been any questions we had that Linda hasn't been able to answer. She always returns our phone calls or emails within a few hours or within a day. I remember two days after Christmas when Linda's office was closed, she somehow still managed to email us a medical update and pictures of our baby which meant so much to us for her to take her personal time and let us know how our baby was doing. 	My husband and I became fortunate enough to find Heart to Heart in November, 2002. I am a procrastinator. It was Linda that made this virtually possible because she motivated us to complete our dossier in a timely manner. Linda answered our questions immediately and most importantly honestly. Every family working with Linda is important to her. Through this process, we lost two adoptions with Heart to Heart; however, what could have been an upsetting time for us has become a wonderful experience!!!!!!!!!!! We are now very excited about our third baby because of Heart to Heart !!!!!!!!!! Linda was supportive during our difficult time. She really cared about us and what we were going through. She encouraged us to follow through and not give up as a result of her experience. Linda was so compassionate because she went through this and knew how devastating this was. In December 2003 I traveled to Guatemala to bring home Jonah Maximus, my second beautiful baby boy. Having been through the process of an international adoption from Guatemala in 2001 when I adopted my now 3 year old son Noah, I knew what I needed from an agency. When I spoke to Linda Wynn, I felt that I had found the person with whom I wanted to work this time around. The care and health of the baby were, of course, of primary importance to me. But in terms of the process, I knew I needed responsiveness and communication from my agency. I needed to know that someone was monitoring the progress of my case and providing me with frequent updates (even if there was no specific news). Linda was incredibly responsive?every phone call was answered promptly and we exchanged frequent e-mails (she even called to check on me when I was in Guatemala). I was also fortunate to be represented by an outstanding group of attorneys, who despite the difficulties surrounding Guatemalan adoptions during the summer of 2003, completed Jonah?s adoption in just over 6 months. In addition, during Jonah?s first 6 months in Guatemala, he received extraordinary foster care. When we arrived home, everybody who met him, including our pediatrician remarked about how well socialized he appeared to be. Jonah also received excellent medical care. I was fortunate enough to meet his Guatemalan pediatrician because Jonah developed a cold while we were in Guatemala and I wanted his ears checked before we flew. I made the request of the attorney?s representative and 15 minutes later we were at the doctor?s office. Jonah?s adoption process was uncomplicated and I feel that I was one of the lucky ones during a difficult time in Guatemalan adoptions but as all adoptive parents know, even without complications the wait can be excruciating. Linda Wynn understands this because she has lived it. While I waited for the call that I could travel to bring Jonah home, I thought over and over again about how happy I was to have chosen Heart to Heart Adoptions. Linda is the best! I learned that you can trust Linda. She is definitely a client advocate. I adopted two toddlers from Heart to Heart and both trips to Guatemala went smoothly. I can't say the same for other families I met from other agencies. Linda took care of every detail, gave helpful hints and advice during the process and my traveling. She coached me, checked on my progress, and was always there for me. Her staff in Guatemala was friendly and efficient. I did not feel alone. Rosemary Burdyn Charleston, WV October, 2006 Dear Linda, Today we write this letter to you, there are no words to describe what you and your agency have done for us.  But I will try.  We began our adoption journey in January of 2005.  We were uninformed and uneducated and jumped into the domestic adoption process.  We were so close to finally having our baby when her birth mother changed her mind without warning three weeks before she was due to give birth, and our world came crashing down.  I cried for weeks.  I could not phyically or mentally go through that again. In August, 2005, Haig reached out to our social worker, Judy Schwartz, for advice and guidance.  She did not hesitate to recommend Heart to Heart and the Guatemalan program.  We thank God that she did.  From our very first phone call to your agency, we felt comfortable and confident that we were finally on the road to success.  As you know there were a few bumps in the road, but you worked with us, explained everything, answered hundreds of questions and answered every e-mail. After just about a year of waiting, our prayers were answered on August 11, 2006m, at 3:01 pm when the phone rang and you told us that the file was out of PGN and our adoption was finalized.  We traveled to Guatemala on September 10, 2006, to finally be united with our beautiful daughter. Linda, you are an angel from God.  We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you do for these children and the families waiting for them.  Our baby girl is home now.  It is everything and more that we anticipated.  She is already Daddy's little girl and Mama's angel. We would recommend Heart to Heart for anyone considering adopting from Guatemala. We decided to pursue adoption after trying for 3 years to become pregnant. Where to begin? International was not a question ... just "which country?" We researched for weeks, contacting 35 agencies. Some felt "right", some didn't. We narrowed it down based on many things and it didn't take long to see that Heart to Heart stood above the rest. Linda Wynn's dedication to her agency was very evident from the first email response, which we got within a matter of hours. Some of those other agencies? We're still waiting for their information packets! She has been through the process and had both negative and positive results and I think this makes her ideal to adopting parents. She can relate to the emotions that we all feel during this process both the good and bad! We started our process in February, 2003, just prior to the Hague mess. Throughout our process, no matter how busy she was, no matter how many families were contacting her all at once with questions, she always replied to me. If she didn't have answers, she said, "I don't know," instead of trying to make something up to appease me or satisfy our questions. I respected that immensely. Linda was my rock when I needed her. She was always there and continues to be there for us today. Heart to Heart has a wonderful team of attorneys and support staff in Guatemala to help adopting parents on the journey of a lifetime. We were extremely confident that we would be well cared for on our trip and we were not disappointed. Linda screens her attorneys, gets feedback from families, and keeps in constant contact with her staff in Guatemala. This is invaluable! Our dreams came true on December 2, 2003, when we returned home with our 7 month old son. Linda was "there" with us. I felt her spirit as we returned to the US, our baby finally here! I know that people have different reasons for doing things but I feel that God guided us to this adoption, to this agency, and to Linda Wynn. I would not hesitate to recommend her agency to anyone thinking of adopting. Linda, I am sorry to bother you again but I have been wanting to write this for a long time. I really want you to know how much I appreciate your hard work and everything you did to make the adoption process so smooth for us. I could never thank you enough and it is something I have wanted to write you for sometime but you stay so busy I hate to bother you with another email. Everytime I look at Oscar or everytime he does something that makes me laugh, I realize how lucky I am to have such a wonderful child and how you made that possible. I will never forget how you held him for us until the Hague Treaty was over and you didn't allow another family to adopt him. Most agencies would not have done that. I am very grateful to you for doing that. Words will never be able to express how grateful we both are to have him and how grateful we are to have found an agency like we did to handle our adoption. Linda first came into my life when the child I was fostering was taken back by his biological mother. I was so hurt and Linda was so supportive. Linda then presented me with a miracle that I thought I could never have. The road to my final happiness was not an easy one but Linda was always there right by my side. Linda, I just want to say thank you for all that you have done for us. Mark and I talked about adoption for many months before actually choosing an agency. We know people that have adopted and have had some very difficult times, which made us very nervous about choosing an agency. The day we spoke back in February, I felt very comfortable speaking with you. When I hung up the phone and told my husband, he noticed how relieved I was to not ony have found an agency, but also to have found the path I had been searching for. I was undecided on what kind of adoption I wanted to pursue for me. Mark and I have been very impressed with the one on one approach you have taken with us. I never hesitate to email you a question because you have always been so prompt in sending a response. You have made this journey, which seems never ending, so much more bearable. In the year 2003, I stopped at a local agency in Appleton, Wisconsin to inquire about adopting a chld. My situation was somewhat unique since I was not married at the time nor was I in a serious relationship. I had helped take care of a friend's child for the last 7 years and now knew that since I hadn't met the right woman yet that I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to love and care for my own child. The experience at my local adoption agency went very well, which led to the next step in the process for adopting internationally. I needed to select the agency that I wanted to work with in the international process. One of the agencies that I was told about was Heart to Heart. I contacted a local family that had dealt with Heart to Heart to find out that their international adoption went great and that they were very pleased with Heart to Heart. I contacted Heart to Heart and spoke with Linda Wynn about my wish to adopt internationally as a single male. She said that it may be difficult to get the adoption through the Guatemalan government as a single male but would do the best that she could. The rest is history. Christian Seaver came home June 18th, 2004 and lives with his loving father. Christian is doing well and thanks to Linda and Heart to Heart Adoption, Christian is loved and lives a blessed life. I can't say enough about how great Linda and her agency was to work with. If I had a question at 11 o'clock at night and would send an email, it seemed as though Linda was also up working and I would receive an email answer as soon as I had sent it. The entire process, while I was in Guatemala, went smoothly. The meeting and receiving Christian, the accommodations, the assistant, Juan Pablo, was very helpful and the attorney did a fantastic job and the visit to the US Embassy went well. I would like to say that Linda and Heart to Heart made the adoption process a wonderful experience and has changed my life forever! Dear Heart to Heart Adoption, As the holiday season approaches, it is time to reflect on the year and the things that we are thankful for. No words can describe the joy this baby boy has brought to us. When we look at him or share our experience with others, we still get choked up. He is truly a little blessing. On my birthday this year, I received the greatest present anyone could ever ask for and Linda Wynn was the person who made it possible. This was the day that I first saw my daughter, held her in my arms and watched her smile. I started researching adopting in late February, 2004. I spent many hours trying to find the best way to start the process. I came across the Heart to Heart Adoption website, and I read the story of how Linda and David made their adoption journey. Just knowing that they had done everything I was about to do and knowing that they would be handling it personally, was very comforting. I sent Linda an email requesting some information. She responded immediately and the rest is history. The next 8 months I was in CONSTANT contact with Linda. She always updated me with new information if there was any and if there wasn't, she still would check in with me. She has the patience of a saint, truly. She made all of our dreams come true and always made me feel as comfortable as possible with her. I am so happy and grateful to God that He brought me to Linda.
