           Lord, I just want to say THANK YOU, because this morning  I woke up and knew where my children were. Because this morning my home was still standing, because this morning  I am not crying because my husband, my child, my brother or sister needs to be buried out from underneath a pile of concrete, because this morning I was able to drink a glass of water, because this morning I was able to turn on the light, because this morning I was able to take a shower, because this morning I was not planning a funeral, but most of all I thank  you this morning because I still have life and a voice to cry  out for the people of Haiti. Lord I cry out to you, the one that makes the impossible, possible, the one that turns darkness in to light, I cry out that you give those mothers strength, that  you give them peace that surpasses all understanding, that  you may open the streets so that help can come, that you may provide doctors, nurses, food, water, and all that they need in a blink of an eye. For all those that have lost family members, give them peace, give them hope, give them courage to continue to go on! Protect the children and shield them with your power. I pray all this in the name of Jesus!!!

To all my friends, please continue to pray so  we will being praying together for the people in Haiti .

Dear Families,

Thank you for visiting us. David and I have devoted our lives to working with children in the education and youth development fields. We both worked very hard for many years at our chosen careers and were very successful.                                                                     

In April of 1999, we decided to adopt a child and this decision changed our lives. A routine adoption process, which normally took 6 to 9 months and sometimes less, resulted in a very difficult 20 month experience during which we lost two children. Both losses occurred in the final stages of our respective adoption process and each loss was extremely painful, challenging our patience, perseverance and emotional well being. Steadfastness and resolve paid off the third time and resulted in a successful, timely adoption of a beautiful, healthy 3 1/2 month old baby girl.

We realized that every adoptive parent's journey will result in its own unique story, but we also realized that with caring, sensitive, informed and supportive agency services, the journey to parenthood can be achieved in a less stressful manner and so we decided to form such an agency. The name Heart to Heart was chosen for a dual purpose. First, it describes what the agency does; unites two or more hearts together in a family bond. Second, it describes how that service is rendered; in a very heartfelt, sensitive, caring, supportive manner designed to make the experience as stress free as possible.

Inspired by the experience of adoption, by our thankfulness to God for His great gift of life that He has blessed us with and by the dire need of children around the world, we have chosen to devote the rest of our lives to  "Uniting Families."  It would give us great pleasure to help you identify your child in one of our program countries: United States, Ukraine, Guatemala, Haiti, Nepal, or our Russia partnered program enriching your life and creating your family.
